Compassionate counselling for life's challenges, transitions, and growth.
Life rarely unfolds as planned.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck, it can be really hard to feel like you have to do it all on your own. You may be carrying a lot for a long time, trying to manage while continuing to show up for work, family, and the people who depend on you, or just need someone to talk to and to listen, while you work through a particularly challenging area of your life.
Sometimes having a supportive, non-judgemental person to talk things through with can make all the difference.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), providing warm, compassionate counselling in Port Moody and online across British Columbia. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, straightforward, with a bit of humour thrown in. I believe change happens when we feel seen, heard, and understood.
It’s okay if you’re not sure where to start. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you here, build on your strengths, and work towards your goals at your pace.
Hi, I'm Christine.
Much of my life has been shaped by transitions. I've navigated many different roles and identities; daughter, student, teacher, partner, mother, business owner, and counsellor. Each chapter brought its own incredible moments, challenges, questions, and opportunities for growth, and what I’ve experienced has shaped how I understand myself, others, and the world around me.
Before becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I spent ten years as an elementary school teacher and more than a decade running a small business while raising a family. Along the way, I also experienced grief, loss, and many of the uncertainties that naturally arise throughout life. These experiences taught me resilience, deepened my compassion for others, and reinforced the importance of connection, community and leaning on others in difficult times.
Today, I bring both professional training and my lived experience to my work. I’m inspired by peoples capacity for growth, healing and change, and feel privileged to support clients as they navigate life’s challenges.
When I’m not counselling, you’ll find me walking on local trails, reading, throwing pottery, and spending time with family and friends.
