Periods of change bring challenges to our lives. Whether it’s a shift in relationships, career, family, identity or just an awareness that something needs to change, these moments can be really difficult, but also allow for opportunities for growth and discovery. I'll walk alongside you as you navigate change, offering support, perspective, and a space to explore the next steps.
-
Major life changes can bring uncertainty, grief, excitement, and stress, and sometimes all at the same time. Whether you're navigating a career change, relationship changes or challenges, identity changes while becoming a parent, or another significant transition, counselling can help you move through change with greater clarity and confidence.
-
Anxiety can show up in many ways, including excessive worry, racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, trouble sleeping, irritability, or feeling constantly on edge. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your anxiety and develop strategies to help you feel more grounded and resilient.
-
Relationships can be both the greatest sources of connection and a big source of stress. Whether you're experiencing conflict, communication challenges, family difficulties, boundary issues, or relationship uncertainty, counselling can help you better understand your needs and strengthen your relationships with others.
-
Women often find themselves balancing the needs of everyone around them while managing their own responsibilities, relationships, and life transitions. I provide support for concerns such as overwhelm, burnout, anxiety, self-worth, identity shifts, caregiving stress, and navigating different stages of life.

This season of life can bring unexpected physical, emotional, and relational changes that are often misunderstood or overlooked. Whether you're noticing shifts in mood, increased anxiety, changes in your sense of self, or simply feeling unlike yourself, counselling can offer support, validation, and practical strategies as you navigate this transition.
-
You may find yourself questioning your worth, struggling with self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from who you are and what matters most to you. Counselling can help you build self-awareness, identify strengths, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values.
Session Fees & Policies
-
We can have a brief phone call, zoom meeting, or in person meeting to discuss your counselling needs, and to see if we are a good fit. No pressure!
-
Sessions $150 per 50-minute session, and are available in person or online. Payment is due at the end of the session, or can be charged to a credit card on file. Most extended health plans in British Columbia cover services by Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC). Receipts will be provided at the end of session and can be submitted to providers.
-
If appointments are cancelled within 24 hours or if a client is a no-show, they will be charged the full session fee, as it is very difficult to fill time with little notice. Thanks for understanding!

Initial sessions are a chance to get to know each other, and talk about what brings you to counselling. You can share what you are comfortable with. Our conversation may include current concerns, past physical or mental health challenges, relationship stressors, family and social supports, and anything else you may want to discuss.
We will also talk about any previous counselling experience, explore what you hope to gain from our sessions, and identify goals that are meaningful for you. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and determine if we are a good fit.
We will also begin exploring the concerns that brought you to counselling, and work together to develop a direction for future sessions. This helps us create a plan to support your goals and changes you hope to make in your life. -
The answer is different for everyone. Some people need support for a specific challenge and attend for a short period of time, while others prefer longer-term support. Together, we'll regularly review your goals and determine what feels best for you.

Most extended health plans cover clinical counselling. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #25204) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Check with your extended health to see if clinical counselling is covered. I will also be offering direct billing with Pacific Blue Cross and Telus Health.

No. Many people seek counselling because they are navigating a life transition, relationship challenge, grief, stress, burnout, parenting challenges, identity changes, or simply because they don't feel like themselves. You do not need a diagnosis or a specific problem to benefit from counselling.

No. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) I do not prescribe medication or provide medical advice regarding medications.
If you have questions about medication, would like a medication review, or are wondering whether medication may be helpful, please speak with your family physician, nurse practitioner, or psychiatrist.
Counselling and medication can sometimes work well together, and if appropriate, we can discuss how counselling fits within your overall support plan.

Collaborative, honest, and straightforward, with a little bit of humour thrown in. I’m not afraid to challenge some behaviours or patterns that might be holding you back. I’m here to support you wherever you are, without judgement, and to listen to your concerns and help you figure out how to achieve your goals.
